Rapid City Chapter Named 2019 NPM Chapter of the Year

At the 42nd National Pastoral Musicians Convention held in Raleigh NC July 15 – 19, the Rapid City Chapter was recognized as 2019 NPM Chapter of the Year. Receiving this award is significant in and of itself, but especially impressive because large metropolitan chapters are typically honored in this manner. The Rapid City Chapter encompasses the same area as the Rapid City Diocese which is the smallest Roman Catholic diocese in the contiguous United States.

Our sincere congratulations and appreciation to each and every one of you! This is your award, and you have all played a vital part in our chapter’s growth and continued success. Most importantly, however, is the time and talent you willingly give of yourselves each week to enriching our liturgy with the gift of music. What an extraordinary blessing you are to your parishes, to your fellow musicians and singers, and to our Rapid City NPM Chapter!
